My mother is on Revlimid and it has almost destroyed her taste buds. Everything taste bad most of the time. Sometimes she will get lucky and eat something that does “work for her”, as she would say, but can try to eat it the next day and it taste bad. There is nothing that consistently taste good every time. Has this happened to anyone else?
My husband has had a similar response to Revlimid. Unfortunately, it seems that his taste buds related to sweet tastes are the only ones consistently intact. Otherwise, he eats because he knows he has to. As a diabetic, he has to control his intake of carbs, so the Revlimid side effects are especially challenging.
