Hi everyone,
I have a question. My Mom just had her stem cell transplant (auto) on Monday October 22nd. She as of today just started with a fever, is there any reason that this is happening already? I'm not able to get up to the hospital today and my Mom is really out of it and cant answer any questions over the phone. My Dad doesnt comprehend everything correctly so I also cant count on him for accurate information. So I was just wodering if you could shed any light on to possibities. I will get up there tomorrow and ask the doctor or nurses to see what exactly is going on.
She did start the growth factor shots for the white blood cells but I googled it and there are no side effects that include fever. Any information or tips would be GREAT. Thank you!
