Make a VIDEO or take a PHOTO while taking the challenge, , REMEMBER TO DISPLAY YOUR SIGN, POST your video and photos and then CHALLENGE OTHERS to do the same.
Help to get it going and help to keep it going. Solo Mambo or Group Mambo, just have fun ! No formal dance skills required, creative interpretation is welcome, no 2 Mambos need to be alike (the "right" dance steps really won't matter, but the awareness will)! Videos and music posted on their page!
Ask your Infusion Nurses to join in and participate, it would be great if they each created a video with their patients and challenged other centers to do the same..Anyone have children/grandchildren in dance school? Maybe they would like to start a challenge !
Doing a race? Mambo at the Finish Line ! Do you attend local MM support group meetings ? Take the challenge as a group and then challenge other support groups to do the same !
How about college sororities, fraternities, football teams? they can challenge each other !! Endless possibilities, especially if we can harness the awareness of the younger generations !
It may not be the ice bucket challenge, but it is a start. If we embrace it as an MM community, we can spread it beyond our own "borders" and begin to raise awareness. It is worth the try !
For those of you with MGUS, although your risk to progression is relatively low, we surely would welcome your participation as well. You can add/share some info about MGUS in your video challenge so your family and friends realize it is a potential precursor to MM.
