Hi everyone,
I thought I would introduce myself, as I am now one of the moderators of the Multiple Myeloma (MM) group. A little bit about myself, I was diagnosed with leukemia (AML) in 1992 and had a bone marrow transplant in 1993. Although I know a lot more about hematological cancers than is healthy, I do not know all that much about MM. I For the past 15 or so years, I have been a listowner (essentially the same as a moderator) for several leukemia and bone marrow transplant lists on ACOR (Association for Cancer Online Resources, http;//www.acor.org), so I am familiar with a many of the problems moderators face, I am still learning a bit about how Ben's Friends works.
Professionally I am a computer scientist, which means I know a lot about the detailed minutiae of how computers work, but little of practical use.
